Additionally, the stores will highlight all of Airtel's cutting-edge product offerings. Commenting on the expansion, Ayan Sarkar, CEO of Bharti Airtel West Bengal stated that as they begin a massive retail expansion in the state of West Bengal, their primary focus remains on the needs of their customers. These neighbourhood stores will provide a comprehensive range of services, including mobile, broadband, DTH, and other offerings. They still have West Bengal as one of their primary focus markets and intend to keep investing there. These neighbourhood stores, which are themed around creating excellence and winning customers for life, will feature every product that Airtel offers, such as Xstream, Xsafe, 5G Plus, and so on. The store employees, known as "Airtel Friends," are trained to handle and resolve customer inquiries regarding all of Airtel's products, including mobile, broadband, and DTH, to provide an unmatched service experience. Currently, the company operates 1500 stores across the nation.
