News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recent data from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) — Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) — further supports Bharti Airtel's claim that its anti-fraud efforts have led to a notable drop in cybercrime complaints. The effectiveness of Airtel's fraud detection solution in reducing cybercrime and establishing a secure network for its customers has been validated by the MHA-I4C, which reports a startling 68.7% decrease in the value of financial losses and a 14.3% drop in total cybercrime incidents on the Airtel network. MHA-I4C's analysis of the data contrasts important cybercrime indicators from June 2025 with those from September 2024, before Airtel's fraud and spam detection system was introduced. Commenting on the initiative, Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Bharti Airtel, stated that their goal is to eradicate financial fraud and spam for their clients. Their AI-powered network solutions have prevented 3.2 lakh fake URLs and detected over 48.3 billion spam calls in the last 12 months. But to them, this is just a minor step in a much bigger battle. Until digital spam and scams are eradicated from their networks, they will keep coming up with new ideas and making significant investments in this field.
