Alcove Triveni Omniplex Brings the Grand Mall Experience to Hooghly

News Desk, News Nation 360: Alcove Realty launched the soft opening of Alcove Triveni Omniplex on March 13, 2026, which marked the beginning of Hooghly District’s first truly organised shopping mall. Strategically located on G.T. Road, Mahesh in Serampore, this 2.5 lakh sq. ft. omniplex is spread over seven floors and is designed to be a one-stop lifestyle destination for the region, incorporating retail, dining, entertainment, and office spaces. The soft opening event was filled with a festive atmosphere, complete with live music and the inauguration of some of the most

important anchors—Zudio, V-Mart, Baazar Kolkata, Safari, Domino’s, Subway, and Tea Junction. Families had a blast at the Space Jump Kids Fun Zone, which attracted quite a number of young visitors. The entertainment options at the mall will soon be led by a 4-screen SVF Cinemas multiplex with 800 seats. Director Ajay Kumar Shroff said that this initiative is a very important step towards developing Hooghly’s retail infrastructure, as well as developing the local economy and providing new employment opportunities for the people.
