News Desk, News Nation 360 : Aliah University's Park Circus campus auditorium recently hosted a unique career counselling and scholarship giving ceremony. Together with the Eternal-Sky Foundation, the Amanat Foundation Trust organised the event. A significant number of students, parents, and prominent members of the community attended the program, which ran from 10 AM to 1 PM. The Amanat Foundation Trust Chairman, Muhammad Shah Alam, gave a speech outlining the event's objectives. He pointed out that for the past 37 years, the Amanat Foundation Trust—which was first established in 1988 as Baytuz Zakat and subsequently renamed Amanat Zakat Mission—has continuously given scholarships to worthy and underprivileged students. He thanked
all of the supporters, partner organisations, and visitors. The function was initiated with recitation of the Holy Quran by student Hafez Abu Osama, translated to Bengali and English by Jalaluddin Ahmed and Astana Parveen. Professor Rafiqul Islam, Vice Chancellor of Aliah University, was the chief guest of the event, and former MP and Chairman of Minority Commission Ahmed Hasan Imran was also in attendance. Other guests were Muhammad Shah Alam (Chairman, Amanat Foundation Trust), Jalaluddin Ahmed (Secretary), Ziyarul Lasker (Coordinator), Arif Nasrullah (MIS Coordinator), Sahid Hossain Siddique (Treasurer), Khalid Fazlullah (Chairman, Eternal Sky Foundation), Golam Mohammad Ladla (President, Janaseba), Ashraf Ali (Secretary, Right Track), Maulana Nizamuddin Biswas (Secretary, All India District Imam & Moazzin Association), Professor Mehdi Hasan (North Bengal University), social workers Khairul Basar and Salauddin Ahmed, and advocate Masud Karim, among other trust members and students. Expert presenters spoke about contemporary career options, opportunities for higher education, and the need to develop skills, with Khalid Fazlullah conducting a career guidance session through a PowerPoint presentation to navigate through the participants.
