News Desk, News Nation 360 : Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre, one of Eastern India's most trusted names in women and child healthcare, today marked a major milestone with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Centre for Paediatric Multispecialty in its New Town facility in Kolkata. Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman of the Ambuja Neotia Group, unveiled the new centre. The hospital, which was built as an expansion of the current facility in New Town, confirms the organisation's commitment to creating a comprehensive, child-centric healthcare ecosystem—one that seamlessly merges clinical and technology expertise with empathy, dignity, and thoughtful design. With this introduction, the hospital's overall bed capacity has increased to 220 beds. Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre has established a cutting-edge Paediatric Super Speciality Hospital to treat complex childhood conditions such as congenital heart disease, neurological disorders, and kidney disease through early detection, advanced diagnostics, and multidisciplinary care. The facility includes a specialised Paediatric Cath Lab, a dedicated Cardiac OT, a Paediatric Dialysis unit, a 160-slice CT scanner, and a 1.5 Tesla MRI designed specifically for children, as well as subspecialties such as Paediatric Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Surgery, Urology, and Orthopaedics. The hospital provides age-appropriate care from infants to teenagers, backed by NICU, PICU, emergency services, and child-friendly surroundings with sensory-aware zones, pushing beyond conventional treatments to precision medicine that promotes healing, family comfort, and dignity. Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman, Ambuja Neotia Group, stated that this hospital symbolises more than just an expansion of their healthcare presence; it embodies their belief that every kid deserves treatment tailored to their specific needs. Children are not miniature adults; their bodies, emotions, and vulnerabilities necessitate specialist care, intelligent design, and extensive knowledge. Their goal has always been to create environments in which science is strengthened by sensitivity while also making families feel encouraged, comforted, and cared for. This new centre represents a step towards that greater goal.
