Arjuna Award Recipient Pranav Soorma was Honoured by Bank of Baroda

News Desk, News Nation 360 : One of the top public sector banks in India, Bank of Baroda (Bank), honoured Pranav Soorma, an officer at the bank and the 2024 recipient of the esteemed Arjuna Award. They are celebrating an extraordinary performance by Pranav Soorma at the Paris Paralympic Games 2024 where he achieved a Silver Medal in the Men's F51 Club Throw event. Soorma has won these achievements, among which the Arjuna Award 2024, has been acknowledged by Shri Debadatta Chand, Managing Director & CEO of Bank of Baroda. Chand lauded the commitment Soorma had towards his sport and went on to reaffirm the bank's commitment towards supporting talented sports persons through its quota for sporting talent. In appreciation of Soorma's efforts and the glory he brought to the country, Bank of Baroda conferred on him an out-of-turn promotion to Manager, a cash reward of Rupees Ten Lakh, and officially recognized him as a "Sportsperson" in the bank. It emphasizes the commitment that the bank would have in providing a culture for nurturing and inspiring excellence in sports.
