BCC&I Collaborates with JIS University and JIS Group for the Annual Education Conclave 2024

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I), in collaboration with JIS Group and JIS University, successfully organised the Annual Education Conclave 2024, focusing on the theme “Synergy - Bridging the Gap between School and Higher Education.” The event brought together distinguished experts, educators, and academicians to discuss and explore ways to align school education with higher education, aiming to create a more cohesive learning environment for students. The event featured interactive and insightful sessions led by academic leaders and faculty from various educational institutions, offering participants an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue on the evolving education landscape. The conclave focused on the importance of synergy between school and higher education to garner holistic development and academic excellence among students. Key sessions included Context Setting, Building Foundations, Higher Education in the 21st Century, and Beyond the Books. The discussions highlighted the need to adapt educational strategies to better prepare students for the challenges of higher education and beyond, emphasizing mental wellness as a crucial component of the learning journey.  The conclave was graced by notable dignitaries, including Gautam Ray, President of BCC&I and President of corporate at RPSG Group; Simarpreet Singh, Co-Chairperson of the Education Committee, The Bengal Chamber, and Director, JIS Group; Padma Shri Professor (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Ray, Director, Institute of Advanced Studies & Research, JIS University; Prof. VMSR Murthy, Director, IIESTS, Howrah; Aakanksha Kaur, Director, JIS Group of Schools; and Dr. Rima Mukherjee, Senior Consultant and Lead Psychiatrist, Founder Director, Consultant Psychiatrist at Crystal Minds and many others.
