BIA Launches School of Performing Arts

News Desk, News Nation 360 : BIA established the School of Performing Arts, an institute dedicated to providing thorough professional training in acting, modelling, filmmaking, photography, and cinematography. The academy, located in Chinar Park, boasted a sprawling 11,000-square-foot facility complete with cutting-edge facilities and superior technical infrastructure necessary for the development of future industry professionals. The first academic session at BIA began in January with a special workshop on Film Acting by National Award-winning director Atanu Ghosh, who is reputed for critically acclaimed Bengali films like Mayurakshi, Angshumaner Chhobi, Abby Sen, Bini Sutoy, and Sesh Pata. Renowned for his storytelling and cinematic vision, Ghosh gave the aspiring actors a rare insight into screen performance, adding to their understanding of film craft. The academy is headed by Director Iban Banerjea, an international model, along with Chief Mentor Tuhinaa Pandey, Mrs India and an experienced administrator. Together, they focus on nurturing talent and preparing students for real-world careers. Similarly, with its production house, Being Iban Entertainment, BIA offers students valuable opportunities for creation and initial placements, assuring a realistic launchpad for their acting career. This combination of expert mentorship and industry integration forms the foundation of the academy’s mission in developing skilled professionals for the cinema.
