Cricket Association of Bengal has Announced the Bengal Pro T20 League's 2nd Season

News Desk, News Nation 360 : With great pleasure, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) announces the highly awaited return of the Bengal Pro T20 League – Season 2, which will start as soon as the IPL 2025 concludes. The league is ready to provide an even more exciting and competitive cricketing experience this year after the overwhelming success of its maiden season. The men's league will start on June 4 and end on Saturday, June 21, 2025, while the women's league will run from May 16 to June 4, 2025. The Bengal Pro T20 League is a premier home T20 cricket competition in West Bengal to find and nurture the state's best cricketing talent, offering a professional platform for up-and-coming players. The league is unprecedented anywhere in the world for having parallel men's and women's franchise leagues of the same size, each with 8 teams, that fosters gender equality and provides a robust platform for talent from Bengal. The eight clubs of various districts are Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers, Sobisco Smashers Malda, Murshidabad Kings/Kueens, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards, Shrachi Rarh Tigers, Servotech Siliguri Strikers, Harbour Diamonds, and Adamas Howrah Warriors. The Sobisco Smashers Malda and Murshidabad Kings jointly took the men's title last season, and the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers took the women's title. Arivaa Sports, the management partners, hope to make the next season even more successful and competitive. Season 2 is expected to be a landmark chapter in Bengal cricket with greater fanfare, increased digital coverage, and greater emphasis on player development and grassroots scouting, with additional details such as player draft dates and fixtures to be revealed later. Snehasish Ganguly, President of the Cricket Association of Bengal, shared his excitement and stated that their domestic calendar now includes the Bengal Pro T20 League as a major event.
