SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360 : At the Kolkata Centre for Creativity, Dakshini Prayas successfully commemorated its 33rd Foundation Day in partnership with Madurdaha Satyavritti Vidyalaya, its educational arm. This year's commemoration had as its topic "Learning how to navigate Social Media and Digital Outlets," to teach young people how to use the internet safely and effectively.

Speaking on the occasion, Anubhuti Prakash, President of Dakshini Prayas, stated that their goal has been to empower people through care, education, and community involvement for more than thirty years. As they look to the future, they are dedicated to turning a Kolkata neighbourhood that is struggling economically into a comprehensive and self-sufficient community by 2030 — a model that others can follow and emulate. The activity conjoined students, teachers, social workers, and special visitors to turn the venue into a participative environment with an artistic theme exhibit where children designed a vibrant wall painting that included symbols like an aeroplane to denote reach and ambition, logos of various social media sites, and images that highlighted both opportunities and dangers in the online world. This piece of art functioned as an engaging visual story that described the way digital literacy and responsible use of technology can empower the youth of today with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. As the organisation celebrates this milestone anniversary, its vision is focused on developing responsible, well-informed, and empowered individuals who can guide themselves and make a positive impact in their communities and advance the world toward a brighter and more just future.
