SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: In order to increase voter knowledge and engagement for the 2026 Legislative Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India has started a major voter outreach campaign in the Howrah district of West Bengal, utilising the well-known cartoon character Chhota Bheem. The campaign, which goes by the tagline "Chunav Ka Parv, Paschim Bengal Ka Garv," is a crucial part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, which was created especially to make the political process more interesting and approachable for young and first-time voters. Senior election officials stated that Chhota Bheem is a perfect candidate to convey relatable civic lessons to families of all ages because he is a reputable and

well-known figure. Green Gold Animation's founder and CEO, Rajiv Chilaka, expressed pride in the partnership, pointing out that the brand's history of public interest links in safety and education is consistent with the use of such a beloved figure. This project reflects a larger trend of utilising creative entertainment and internet platforms to promote a healthy civic spirit and guarantee a high voter turnout in the region as West Bengal gets ready for the election in two phases on April 23 and April 29, 2026, with results expected on May 4.
