News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Horti Food Festival 2025 was inaugurated in Kolkata which is hosted by the Department of Food Processing Industries & Horticulture and organized by The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I), being an important event for the West Bengal agricultural sector. The festival was opened by an illustrious set of ministers including
Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay, Moloy Ghatak, and Pradip Kr. Mazumder, Swapan Debnath, Biplab Mitra, Md. Gulam Rabbani, and Biplab Roychowdhury, with Jayanta Chakraborty, Chairperson of the National Committee for Agri-Horti-Food Processing-Rural Development, underlining the significance of the event and government patronage. Minister Arup Roy was keen on the festival, underscoring its contribution to the development of the agricultural sector and cooperation among stakeholders. With 80 stalls, the festival guarantees a complete exhibition of horticulture and food processing innovations.
