Kolkata Tigers Shine in Bengal Pro T20 League

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Bengal Pro T20 League's Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers, who play for the districts of Kolkata and Hooghly, recently had an incredible start to their innings. The men's and women's teams, which are jointly owned by Lux Cozi and Shyam Steel Group, triumphed in their opening games. In exciting games against the Adamas Howrah Warriors at the renowned Eden Gardens and Jadavpur University Campus, respectively, they played brilliantly. The men's team, captained by Bengal wicket-keeper batsman Abishek Porel, under the direction of assistant coach Kanchan Maity and head coach Shib Sankar Paul, displayed remarkable abilities and teamwork. The Kolkata Tigers, with strong performances from players like Karan Lal and bowlers like Sujit Yadav who took 3 wickets, emerged victorious in a close match against the Adamas Howrah Warriors by 16 runs via the DLS method. This win sets a high bar for the Tigers' upcoming matches in the league, despite them batting first and only scoring 125 runs. Even though Kolkata captain Abishek Porel was dismissed early, Avilin Ghosh's 42 runs and the team's impressive defence throughout the rain-affected match secured their win. Saurabh Srivastava from Kolkata Tigers was named Man of the Match. On June 13, at 9:00 AM, at the Jadavpur University Campus in Kolkata, the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers Women's team also emerged victorious over the Adamas Howrah Warriors. The team's Player of the Match, Mamata Kisku, guided them to victory with a remarkable 53 runs off 48 balls. The team finished with 125/3 in 20 overs, while the Adamas Howrah Warriors Women's team managed 122/9 in 20 overs. The Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers are ready to play their next game with the encouragement and momentum of their supporters. The Bengal Pro T20 League's upcoming season is sure to be exciting thanks to the team's outstanding start.
