News Desk, News Nation 360 : With the release of the logo for its infrastructure investment trust, National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT), NHAI has unveiled a new corporate identity. The introduction of the new corporate identity, which represents "Agility" and "Progress," represents a critical turning point in NHIT's history. By aligning the organization's image with its core values of accountability, agility, continuous learning, excellence, integrity, and collaboration, the new logo seeks to increase NHIT's brand visibility with a range of stakeholders. In front of senior NHAI and NHIT officials, NHAI Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav unveiled the new NHIT logo yesterday at the NHAI Headquarters in New Delhi. In October 2020, NHIT established a trust with SEBI to facilitate the National Monetization Pipeline (NMP) initiative of the Indian government. Following the conclusion of three monetization rounds, NHIT's total realised value for all three rounds is now Rs. 26,125 crore. In November 2021, NHIT units were historically issued for Rs. 101 a unit and listed on the BSE and NSE. As of March 31, 2024, NHIT's Net Asset Value (or "NAV") is Rs. 124.75 per unit. NHAI plans to use NHIT to monetize projects valued between Rs. 15,000 and 20,000 crore under the NMP for FY 2024–2025. With the support of the new corporate identity, NHIT will be able to establish itself as a major force in the InvIT market and effectively channel financial resources for the ongoing national highway network development.
