News Desk, News Nation 360 : SAI International School, Bhubaneswar, a leading educational institution, conducted SAITED 2025, one of India's largest school-based science and technology festivals, as envisioned by Late Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, Founder of SAI International Education Group. More than 5,000 children from government and private schools in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack attended the festival with enthusiasm. This year's theme, "Infinite Possibilities, Endless Realities: Science Beyond the Omniverse!" set the tone for a day of exploration, experimentation, and innovative STEM learning. The campus came alive as young students participated in hands-on activities, demonstrated prototypes, and investigated cutting-edge scientific topics. Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, ISRO Gaganyatri and a distinguished IAF test pilot who flew India's historic Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station in July 2025, elevated SAITED 2025 with an hour-long discussion that shared important insights from his space trip. He gave them a unique view into mission execution, from painstaking pre-launch preparations to orbital operations, describing challenges such as daily routines, microgravity adaptation, and sustaining

physical/mental discipline in space. Shukla showed unique mission videos of onboard activity, spacecraft movement, and breathtaking space views, bringing the experience to life and capturing the audience. His engaging Q&A sparked innovative thinking, future-focused enquiries, and a sense of wonder, enthusiasm, and intellectual discovery, leaving students tremendously driven by the realities of space travel. The event was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, who formally inaugurated the fest and engaged with the student innovators. In his address, he stated that events like SAITED should be supported throughout Odisha because they play an important role in improving STEM learning among kids. Their young students must be inspired to imagine higher, dream greater, and invent fearlessly. The future of their state is in the hands of these brilliant brains who dare to think beyond the obvious. The Odisha government is deeply devoted to enabling education through improved infrastructure, technology-driven learning, and programs to foster scientific curiosity. They will continue to support platforms that enable children to explore, experiment, and succeed.
