News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata, the largest running festival in West Bengal and the first World Athletics Gold Label 25K in history, marked a significant milestone. Over 23,000 runners gathered at the famous Red Road for the race's historic tenth edition, bringing them together in the spirit of social responsibility, communal welfare, and athletic achievement #ADecadeofDifference. The Tata Steel World 25K in Kolkata has become a real philanthropic endeavor, showing that sports can be the catalyst for genuine social change. In partnership with the Impact360 Foundation, the 2025 event attracted ₹45.68 lakh, with the fundraising campaign concluding on January 10, 2026. This was made possible through the collective efforts of 39 NGOs, 26 individual fundraisers, and 9 corporate partners, all of whom are committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Since its inception, the event has contributed to the collective raising of over ₹5.16 crore for more than 114 NGOs in various sectors such as health, education, disability, and women’s empowerment. By providing NGOs with a platform to raise awareness and funds, the event has addressed critical issues such as child sexual abuse, animal welfare, and skill development. The consistent growth of charitable reach underscores the event’s importance as a strong social catalyst for community development in Kolkata. The current year’s success further solidifies the event’s position as more than a marathon—it is a meaningful initiative that makes it possible for organisations to make a genuine social impact. It is through these collective efforts that the Tata Steel World 25K continues to mobilise thousands of donors for a common cause to make a difference in people’s lives and protect the environment.
