News Desk, News Nation 360 : As part of the nationwide celebration of National Youth Day, the Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management (SBIHM) marked the 162nd anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's birth with great fervour and enthusiasm on Friday, January 12, 2024, at SBIHM's Newtown Campus. The distinguished presence of Swami Sevaparananda Maharaj, Secretary of the Vivek Bharti Seva Trust, Belur Math, graced the occasion. Several interesting activities were included in the celebration at SBIHM to highlight the students' creativity and talent. A lyrical yoga performance, a recitation of Vedic mantras, a recital of the Swadesh Mantra, and an opening song were all featured in the programme. The ideals and principles of Swami Vivekananda were embodied in these activities. Bidisha Sarkar, CEO of SBIHM, remarked that National Youth Day is more than just a celebration; it's an opportunity to reflect on the values and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, which continues to inspire and mentor their country's youth. SBIHM is honoured to support the ideals that Swami Vivekananda advocated and to be a part of this celebration. They remain committed to advancing concepts and instruction that support their students' overall growth and are consistent with Swami Vivekananda's vision.
