News Desk, News Nation 360 : Techno India Group, a leading education provider in Eastern India, sponsored the CBSE District Level Deliberation (DLD) Workshop on STEM Education at TIGPS, Garia.1 This aligns with their efforts to improve education. The CBSE Centre of Excellence, Bhubaneswar, directed the event. STEM teachers from South 24 Parganas discussed innovative teaching methods, group projects, and learning transformation. Tania Sen, Principal of TIGPS Garia and CBSE District Training Coordinator, stated that experiences are central to education now. Quality education, as per SDG 4 and NEP 2020, requires transformative, relevant, and real-life learning. She stressed making STEM education engaging and participatory to build research, development, and entrepreneurship skills. The DLD is a CBSE program. It invites schools nationwide to host workshops. These workshops enhance pedagogical contexts for STEM education. The program emphasises inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary integration, and hands-on practices. The DLD aims to align classroom experiences with NEP 2020. The day began with a
ceremonial lamp lighting by the Appreciation Committee. This committee included Tania Sen, Dipankar Bhattacharya, and Dr. Apala Chakraborty. A soulful prayer song by the TIGPS Garia choir set a positive ambience. Several schools participated. These included Jyotirmoy Public School, Saini International School, Silver Point School, Swarnim International School, and Techno India Group Public School, Garia. Each presented a case paper. These highlighted classroom innovations and unique practices. Topics included hands-on practical STEM learning, sustainable development through STEM, and encouraging students towards AI, Design Thinking, Coding, and Robotics. The Appreciation Committee reviewed presentations. They judged contributions and provided useful inputs. This enriched the discussion. The National Anthem concluded the event. It conveyed a strong message of collaborative growth. Actionable strategies for STEM teaching were emphasised. This DLD is another Techno India Group initiative. It aims to develop responsive and futuristic learning ecosystems.
