News Desk, News Nation 360 : On July 10, 2024, Bank of India gave the Government of India a dividend cheque for Rs. 935.44 crores for the fiscal year 2023–2024. Honourable Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman received the dividend cheque from Bank of India CEO and Managing Director Rajneesh Karnatak, along with the four Executive Directors. In addition, Bank of India Govt. Nominee Director Bhushan Kumar Sinha was present. For the fiscal year 2023–2024, the Bank of India announced a dividend of Rs. 2.80 per equity share (28%). Bank of India's net profit for the entire fiscal year 2023–24 increased by 57%, from Rs. 4,023 crores in FY23 to Rs. 6,318 crores in FY24. In doing so, the Bank of India has demonstrated its strong financial performance and steadfast commitment to generating value for its shareholders by effectively paying dividends to the Government of India. This achievement is evidence of the bank's dedication to quality and its capacity to provide steady returns.
