Tridhara Sammilani will Host the 2nd Emami Tridhara 21K Marathon

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Tridhara Sammilani, one of the city's most well-known clubs for its famous Durga Puja and powerful CSR activities, has announced the start of the second edition of the Emami Tridhara 21K Marathon. The much-anticipated second edition, set for January 4th, 2026, promises to bring together runners from all across the city and beyond for a vibrant and engaging marathon experience. Debasish Kumar, Hon'ble MLA, Rashbehari Constituency; Dr Nitesh Kumar, CEO & Managing Director, Emami Realty Limited; and Amlan Basu, President, Tridhara Sammilani, attended the announcement news conference. Eminent footballers José Ramirez Barreto and Alvito D'Cunha, as well as actor Anindya Chatterjee, were in attendance. They presented the official jersey for the occasion. José Ramirez Barreto and Alvito D'Cunha have been selected as official brand ambassadors for the Emami Tridhara 21K Marathon 2025. As part of its greater commitment to community welfare, Tridhara Sammilani has launched a strategic endeavour to create a cutting-edge diagnostic centre in South Kolkata, which would deliver crucial diagnostic services such as MRI and CT scans to underprivileged populations. To support this purpose, the annual Tridhara 21K Marathon was designed as the primary fundraising and engagement vehicle. The marathon will include four categories: 21K, 10K, 5K, and 3K, aiming to cater to both elite runners and amateur fitness lovers. With an expected attendance of 5000 athletes, this edition is destined to be a watershed moment in Kolkata's running calendar.
