Ltd., which houses the well-known brands Usha/Usha Shriram and high-end appliances brand Eurolex, has a strong presence in lighting, solar products, wires, switches, cookware, electronics, water and air purifiers, and furniture, and is known for quality as well as countrywide service. The firm innovated water technology by collaborating with BRITA GmbH, introducing the legendary Usha Waterguard, and
has now made a foray into the packaged drinking water segment by introducing its premium product Aquaero, containing water infused with minerals and oxygen for enhanced hydration and refreshing taste, packaged in 250 ml, 500 ml, 1 litre, and 2 litre packs to cater to diverse customer preferences. Usha Shriram has planned an investment of ₹25–30 Crores within two years for gaining a footprint in the packaged drinking water business, with ₹8–9 Crores earmarked for the launch phase alone, including plant establishment, branding, and market launch. With Aquaero, Usha Shriram makes inroads into FMCG, complementing its long-term diversification strategy outside of its staple markets such as appliances, lighting, solar, and home essentials.
