News Desk. News Nation 360: Asparagus Catering Unit's main event, Boishakhi Adda 2026, a high-end cultural and gastronomic extravaganza held in Kolkata, was held to mark the Bengali New Year. The unit, which was founded in 2008 by Pritam Datta, an alumnus of IHM Taratala, created an evening that combined traditional Bengali flavours with international techniques. It included a remarkable buffet that included dishes such as Lotte Macher Jhuri, Rajbarir Mutton Kosha, and Daab Chingri. Syed Shamsil Arefin's (Bitkel Bangali) stand-up performance added even more energy to the event, which attracted a distinguished crowd of businesspeople and foodies. The celebration strengthened Asparagus Catering's standing as a pioneer in Kolkata's upscale catering industry and its expanding influence through collaborations with well-known hospitality brands like Hotel Hindustan International by fusing creative presentation with heritage-rich cuisine.
