Indian Air Force and Bandhan Bank Sign an MoU

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Bandhan Bank declared that it and the Indian Air Force (IAF) had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer the Bandhan Bank Shaurya Salary Account, a corporate salary account created especially for military personnel. More than 1700 Bandhan Bank offices provide IAF personnel several special perks, including a Zero Balance savings account, family and personal security, and competitive interest rates. The Bank has partnered with the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) to create SPARSH Service Centres to offer services to Defence pensioners and their families through 557 designated branches. This partnership with IAF for the Shaurya Salary Account is in addition to the Bank's status as a SPARSH Service Centre for Defence personnel. The Indian Air Force and Bandhan Bank have agreed. It is known as a Memorandum of Understanding, or MoU. Air Vice Marshal Updesh Sharma VSM signed on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. He is the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff for Accounts and Air Veterans. Debraj Saha signed on behalf of Bandhan Bank. He is the Head of the Government Business Group there. of Central Government Business in Bandhan Bank. Other Bandhan Bank and Indian Air Force officials were also present. Bandhan Bank has established strong associations with significant groups. The Reserve Bank of India has selected Bandhan Bank to be an Agency Bank. This implies that Bandhan Bank can do certain things on behalf of the government. The bank can collect taxes on behalf of the Central Boards of Direct Taxes and Indirect Taxes. It can also disburse pensions to retired central government employees and railway employees. Speaking on the occasion, Debraj Saha, Head – Government Business Group, Bandhan Bank, stated that for them, their collaboration with the Indian Air Force marks an important turning point. It is a privilege for them to work with the IAF to provide smooth solutions with specialised services catered to their banking needs through the Shaurya Salary Account.
