News Desk, News Nation 360 : The last two chapters of Dr. Soumya Bhattacharya's quartet of Bengali Renaissance novels, "Duronto Dupur" and "Bishad Sandhya," were both published in one book at the International Kolkata Book Fair. Ananda Publishers, the same company that published Natun Alo and Sonali Sakal, the first two volumes of the tetralogy, is the publisher of this book. Renowned Jibanananda scholar Goutam Mitra released Soumya Bhattacharya's four-volume novel series on the Bengali Renaissance, "Duranto Dupur Bishad Sandhya," at the Kolkata Book Fair. Bhattacharya wrote about the period between 1899 and 1910, both at the height of the Renaissance and the point where it was beginning to decline in Kolkata.

The tetralogy, which lacks a central hero, uses the very fabric of time as its primary driving force, with the connective tissue being Premankur Atarthi between the four volumes. "Duranto Dupur Bishad Sandhya" is available at the fair from Ananda Publishers (Stall No. 242), Signet Press (Stall No. 248), and Rik Prakashani (Stall No. 676). The first two volumes, "Natun Alo" and "Sonali Sakal," contained notable individuals like Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Jagadish Chandra Bose, Sister Nivedita, Lord Curzon, and Lord Kitchener. The third book, "Duronto Dupur," documents the ferocity of Bengal's anti-partition campaign and the emergence of radical politics in the area. "Bishad Sandhya," the fourth and last volume, ends with Sri Aurobindo's journey from Bengal to Pondicherry in April 1910.
