SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Through deliberate efforts, the largest B2B e-commerce company in India, Mjunction Services Limited, has improved rural livelihood in Bengal. Their sustainability basket includes initiatives like planting trees, encouraging community planters, and running programmes for agricultural entrepreneurship, to mention a few. In addition to conducting Orchard Programmes to upskill the grower community in producing cashews and mangoes, Mjunction also promoted sustainable livelihood for the populace. Through these training programmes, the growers have gained knowledge about multi-cropping, intermittent farming, and other related topics. More than 350 growers have benefited from community plantation training initiatives. Since 2019, mjunction has been planting trees, and in just five years, it has turned Jhargram into a forest. 13 acres of wasteland were unusable for cultivation until the junction took action and planted more than 4500 trees to create a green cover. Additionally, mjunction has trained over 100 individuals through its Agricultural Entrepreneurship Programme, imparting knowledge on sustainable agricultural practices to the participants. When combined, these programmes have improved peoples' quality of life and raised their standard of living overall.
