The Grand Premiere of Upekshita Held in Howrah

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, the much-anticipated premiere of the feature film Upekshita was held at Utpal Dutt Mancha in Kolkata. The entire auditorium was alive with excitement as filmgoers packed the place to capacity. Following the screening, the actors and crew discussed their experiences with the media. The film features Arghya Mondal and Riya Chakraborty as leads. Director Jayanta Mondal explained that Upekshita tells the narrative of a rural girl's life. Set against the backdrop of rural life, it portrays the complexities of human relationships, challenges, and aspirations. I've made short films before, but this is my first full-length movie. He also revealed plans to begin filming his next project, a new and captivating story, on January 1, 2026, expressing confidence that it will capture viewers' hearts in the same way that Upekshita had. Viewers at the screening observed that Upekshita is more than just a film; it is a human journey, depicting the deep emotions, love, and harsh realities concealed inside the simplicity of rural life.
