News Desk, News Nation 360 : Mirchi Sunday Suspense is celebrating 15 years of being a revolutionary form of Bangla storytelling—horror, mystery, crime, and adventure narration. It started as an experimental venture over the radio but eventually became a cultural phenomenon. It has impressively tallied up impressive statistics: 1.07 billion views in a lifetime, more than 330 million hours, 2.8 million subscribers on YouTube, and 15.2 billion impressions. A major milestone has been the first Bengali audio adaptation of Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" in 2024 and "The ABC Murders" which emphasizes its commitment to taking international literary classics to the ears of Bangla listeners. Besides horror, Sunday Suspense will have IPs that range from mythology to classic literature and serialized fiction, thus satisfying changing tastes in the same flavour. Some of the most notable ones include "Times of Puraan" with 4.7 million playlist views, "Golpo Goldmine" featuring "Pratham Aalo" with 2.7 million views, and "Friday Classics" reviving timeless stories like "Pratham Aalo," "Merchant of Venice," "Jane Eyre," and "Frankenstein" with 7.5 million views. Individual episode performance is outstanding; most of the episodes have seen over 1 Million views such as 'Bijoynagarer Heere,' 'Sabuj Dweeper Raja,' 'Kaalchakra,' 'And Then There Were None,' 'Bosepukure Khunkharapi,' and 'Kukrajhorar Nekremanush' with two crossing the 2-million mark

('Ranga Kakima' and 'Feluda: Royal Bengal Rahasya'). Specialized formats like the short horror series "Haar Heem Horror" (5.4 million views) and "Back-To-Back Horror" (1.2 million views), along with the popular Mirchi Bangla Originals (8.6 million views) and its million-view episode "Sarkari Chakri," demonstrate the demand for diverse and original content. Sunday Suspense is interacting with fans at the Kolkata Book Fair (Stall #191, February 2nd-9th) to celebrate its 15th anniversary. The events include Rwitobroto Mukherjee's presentations and sessions, Gaurav Chakrabarty's discussion on audio storytelling, meet-and-greets with renowned writers, live storytelling by Mirchi RJs, auditions for aspiring authors, and a panel discussion featuring Parambrata Chattopadhyay and others, moderated by Mirchi Agni.
