News Desk, News Nation 360 : Manipal Hospitals celebrated International Women's Day by unveiling a major initiative, "The Power of Her," to place top priority on women's health and empowerment, appreciating their key role as pillars of family, workplace, and society. The event united working professionals, women HR heads, police personnel, and IAS and IPS Women's Association members, with doctors from all units of the hospital, for a thought-provoking and celebratory morning. "The Power of Her" highlighted the notion that women's empowerment results in community thriving as it recognized their strength in juggling numerous responsibilities while tending to give less attention to their well-being. The project aimed at reclaiming space for women to look after themselves, their desires, and voice, giving honor to their strength and accomplishments. The event began with critical Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, providing participants with the necessary life-saving skills, followed by a ceremonial launch in the form of a lamp-lighting ceremony. A key and eagerly awaited portion of Manipal Hospitals' "The Power of Her" event was the Doctor and Patient Case Study Session, wherein medical experts such as Dr. Sutanu Hazra, Dr. Parijat Deb Choudhary, Dr. Sanchila Talukdar, Dr. Pooja Agarwal, Dr. Arindam Pande, Dr. Amitabha Ghosh, Dr. Saswati Sinha, Dr. Irina Dey, and Dr. Ansu Sen shared motivating cases of inspiring courage, unique treatments, and changed lives, which acted as a moving testament to the resilience of women and the effect of timely medical treatment. This was followed by an engaging panel discussion into some of the most important health concerns that face women across their lifespan, including expert opinions from Manipal Hospitals' experts like Dr. Prerna Goenka, Dr. Abhinibesh Chatterjee, Dr. Sanchila Talukdar, Dr. Arunava Roy, Dr. Rajib Basu, and Dr. Subhasis Roy Chowdhury, providing different insights into the challenges and solutions surrounding women's health. Apart from the health discussions, the event brought to the forefront women entrepreneurs and their resilience and contributions to society. The women had overcome adversity, broken barriers, and opened doors for others, and their success was something to be celebrated.
