Superstar Dev along with Sudipta Chakraborty, debutante Sreeja Dutta, Director Arun Roy and the other cast and crew members of the movie were present for the Teaser launch. Arun Roy and Sounava Bose have written the script and the dialogues. Nilayan Chatterjee composed the music and background score for the film. The film, Bagha Jatin is inspired by the life and journey of Shri Jatindranath Mukherjee, one of the significant figures in the History of India's struggle for independence. The movie will narrate the extraordinary tale of Jatindranath's fearless spirit, unwavering determination and unconditional love for his motherland. Jatindranath Mukherjee later came to be known as Bagha Jatin because he fought with a tiger with his bare hands. Playing the role of Bagha Jatin in the movie, Super Star Dev stated that Jatindranath Mukherjee is undoubtedly an inspiration for all. He is still alive in the heart of every Indian youth for his bravery and sacrifice. Bagha Jatin is their Durga Puja bonanza for the audience. The movie is going to revive on screen the thrilling journey of this hero and the story has been narrated on a huge canvas in a unique way. It was indeed a daunting task for me to portray every shade of this particular character on the big screen. He hopes the cine-goers are going to enjoy the film.
