News Desk, News Nation 360 : On Saturday, 24th December 2022 at about noon members of the Jain Community along with approx 4000 people will march in a silent, peaceful Rally. The Rally will be held to protest against the Gazette Notification S.O.2795 (E) dated 02.08.2019 issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate, Central Government declaring the most sacred Sri Sammed Shikharji hill as a tourist place instead of the worship place of the Jains Community which is not acceptable at all by the entire Jain Community in India and abroad. In the Conference, Sri Bhagchand Kasliwal, President, said that the Shikharji hills are a sacred place for Jains Community where twenty Tirthankaras had attained Nirvana. And now this government notification will destroy the sanctity and dignity of their sacred place. So, they urge all their religious loving brothers to make this protest silent rally a success

by participating in this with the entire family, friends, and well-wishers and giving a valuable contribution to saving Sammed Shikhar ji. The Rally will start from Digambar Jain Mandir and will take a route from Kalakar Street, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Pagaiya Patti, Brabourne Road, India Exchange Place, Bentinck Street, Dharmatalla More and pass through Metro Y Channel and will end up with a huge meeting. This is a big conspiracy to make Sammed Shikharji a tourist destination, in which there are plans to build eco-tourism trails from the foothills to the top and to build tourist camps on the mountain. The entire Jains Community is against this decision.
