Eshita was a visionary. She has been instrumental in trying to bring about social reforms by promoting programs and stories that highlight social concerns/issues. Like she had in the past chosen a subject like ‘autism’ and produced a full-time program on it. She not only mentioned the problem but also cited the ways to deal with the person facing the disorder. Eshita, after completing her Master’s Degree in 2007 joined the family business of Television Software Production. With less than a decade’s experience, she became the Creative Head and Director of Channel Eight and Aakash Aath. After the demise of her father, Shri Ashok Surana, has been her idol and the biggest source of inspiration in 2019, Eshita held the reigns of the Aakash Aath till she breathed her last. She has not only produced over 15000 hours of successful Bengali television serials like Charulata on Star Jalsa; Satya Ghatna Abolambone on Sony Aath, Janani & Sahityer Shera Samay on Aakash Bangla and other shows like Shri Guruveh Namah, Police Filez, Briddhasram, Dipabalir Saatkahon, Chhoy Maasher Mega, Om Sai Ram, Tomaay Hridmajhare Raakhbo,
