Through the IBM TECHNNOVATE program, the IBM DAY celebration had been organized at Kingston Educational Institute. Eminent IBM members joined this auspicious occasion to embark on an innovative curriculum that would cater to the essential industrial needs of the pupils. The aim is to develop sufficient industry-needed skills for manpower in critical emerging technology areas such as Cloud, Mobility, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. Set up in the year 2004, the dreams came to the reality of the father founder: Late Utpal Bhattacharjee and his partner, the Secretary of Kingston Educational Institute, Uma Bhattacharjee; the institution had stepped into the domain of education with a mission to create impressive and talented minds for a better tomorrow. Kingston Educational Institute has 5 colleges: KPC, KSMS, KLC, KCS, KTTC and Kingston Model School. A joint committee has been set up between the Institution and IBM that would efficiently and continuously recommend course curriculum, content and delivery of the quintessential technical elements. The Committee will monitor and review the activities under these programs and recommend decisions to uplift students’ scholastic domain for their glorious future.
