ISKCON organizes Rathayatras in over 170 countries and over 800 cities and towns worldwide. 970 million people around the world struggle with some mental illness 25% of people all over the world will be affected by a mental illness at some point in their lives 14.3% of deaths worldwide, or approximately 8 million deaths each year, are attributable to mental disorders. This year, the theme of Kolkata Rathayatra is "Mental Peace" With the growing number of individuals affected by mental illness worldwide. ISKCON devotees will enlighten attendees on how to achieve mental peace even in challenging situations. Through spiritual knowledge, they aim to dispel the darkness of ignorance and guide individuals towards tranquillity. Attendees are invited to visit with their families to have darshan of Lord Jagannath, Baladev, and Subhadra Devi in Their Mashi-Badi and offer Puja for themselves and their loved ones Various cultural programs, including dance performances by award-winning artists, dramas, kirtans, and magic shows, will be held to entertain the audience.
