The story, 'Shwet Patharer Thala' continues to appeal to readers across generations. The narrative will reveal the soulful journey of 'Bandana'. The happy and contented marital life of this endearing lady turns into deep despair with the untimely demise of her husband in a fatal road accident. With her only son for her company, how she overcomes the challenges and cynicism of society imposed on her forms the arresting storyline. Eshita Surana Poddar and Priyanka Surana Bardia, Directors of Aakash Aath jointly stated that Bani Basu’s 'Shwet Patharer Thala' is still very contemporary as it dwells on the notions and prejudices encountered by many women even today. It is a great privilege for them to present such a momentous and ageless story adaption for their viewers. As far as 'Sahityer Shera Somoy' is concerned, every week they get numerous requests from their viewers to restart this grand storytelling. Thus, they decided to gift them 'Sahityer Shera Somoy' once again, starting this New Year. Pramita Bhattacharya penned the dialogues and also wrote the script of 'Shwet Patharer Thala'.
