News Desk, News Nation 360:  Sudarshana Mukherjee, Councillor, Ward 68, Kolkata Municipal Corporation announced a unique street carnival ‘Paanch Phoron’ featuring fashion, lifestyle, food, home-décor, art carnival with interactive workshops for senior citizens, women, differently abled etc. at Citizens’ Park, Cornfield Road, Kolkata. Present on the occasion were Debojyoti Mishra, Music Director, Swapan Basu, Folk Singer and Siddhartha Chatterjee, Actor & Financial Analyst. In this carnival, apart from various stalls, there will be mental wellness workshops for senior citizens, workshops for parents of differently abled children, cookery workshops etc. There will be live music and drama performances in the three-day carnival. There will be products made by the tiger widows of Sundarbans and their families on display apart from products made by various Self Help Groups. Sudarshana Mukherjee, Councillor - Ward 68, Kolkata Municipal Corporation stated that it has always been their endeavour to include the entire community in all their initiatives, especially in this month of love. They have tried to include the concept of welfare in this fair. Their inclusive approach to community in basic humanitarian values is elementary to the inclusive growth of society.
