P.C.Chandra Group Presented JN Chandra Anuprerna Scholarship 2023

Chandra Group, the leading business group from East India hosted the ninth chapter of JN Chandra Anuprerna 2023- a scholarship programme to provide financial support to Madhyamik achievers coming from humble backgrounds. On Thursday evening, 16 jewels coming from different districts of West Bengal like West Midnapore, Aliporeduar, North & South 24 Parganas, and Howrah were awarded in a ceremony at Maple Banquet, P.C. Chandra Gardens. Started in the year 2015, as the name suggests “JN Chandra Anuprerna” means inspiration; P.C. Chandra Group through this initiative is aimed to open doors for brilliant students coming from financially challenged backgrounds. Like every year, JN Chandra Anuprerna 2023 felicitated the achievers with a token of a total of Rs.

1,20,000/- each to 16 students, which will reach them on a monthly basis of Rs. 5000/- for two years. This scholarship ceremony, JN Chandra Anuprerna witnessed the esteemed presence of the youth icon, award-winning Singer Somlata Acharya, who is also a college lecturer by profession as the guest of honour along with Uday Kumar Chandra, Managing Director, P.C. Chandra Jewellers. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Uday Kumar Chandra, Managing Director, P.C. Chandra Jewellers said, “First of all I would like to thank our media friends for bringing to our notice these gems who would have otherwise never got recognized. The JN Chandra Anuprerna Scholarship Programme is a matter of great pride for them as they are able to aid these young minds and shape their lives. All barriers have failed to stop them. They took the stride of dedication, devotion and commitment and kept struggling hard till they achieved their goal. It is a great moment for them as JN Chandra Anuprerna wants to support future generations with a strong foundation for a stronger tomorrow.
