News Desk, News Nation 360 : On the occasion of the pride month Kolkata Centre of Creativity, Women’s Indian Chamber Of Commerce And Industry, Candid Communication and Raunaq Publication organized a collaborative event called Inclusivity at the workplace at Kolkata Centre For Creativity in Anandapur. Manabi Bandyopadhyay, Indian Professor, Indoneel Mukherjee, Fashion Designer, Sudarshan Chakraborty, Choreographer were among the famous personalities who were present at the event. The event was also attended by Rupa Majumdar, Director of Raunaq Publication, Reena Dewan President of West Bengal Arts Council, and Paromita Ghosh Vice President of West Bengal Arts Council. Pride Month was a celebration and recognition of the LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning) community. It took place annually in June in many parts of the world.

Pride Month was a time for LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies to go together, raised awareness, and advocate for equal rights, acceptance, and visibility. During Pride Month, cities around the world hold parades, festivals, and other events that promote LGBTQ+ visibility, inclusivity, and support. These celebrations often feature colourful displays, marches, performances, and speeches that highlight the progress made in the LGBTQ+ rights movement and the ongoing challenges faced by the community. The theme for International Pride Month 2023 was "Beyond Bordered: Embracing Diversity, Empowering Equality. This theme highlights the importance of breaking down barriers, both physical and metaphorical, to create a world where everyone could live authentically, without fear of discrimination or prejudice. An inclusive workplace recognized and appreciated the unique perspectives and contributions that diverse employees brought to the table. In today's rapidly evolving society, acknowledging and embracing gender diversity had became a vital aspect of building inclusive workplaces. Third gender inclusivity was a significant step towards creating environments that honor and respect all individuals, regardless of their gender identity. By recognizing and affirming the existence of non-binary, genderqueer, and genderfluid individuals, organizations could foster a culture of acceptance, where all employees felt valued and empowered to be their authentic selves. Implementing policies that addressed pronoun usage, gender-neutral facilities, and diversity training not only demonstrates a commitment to inclusivity but also helped to attract and retain a diverse talent pool. Embracing third-gender inclusivity in the workplace not only benefits individuals but also leads to greater innovation, productivity, and collaboration among teams.
