The story of Mishtu is about a fun-loving, innocent and mischievous village girl. Her only problem is, she forgets things that happen in her daily life. Her forgetful nature often creates trouble in her life. No one ever thought that this could be a disease and it could be cured by proper treatment. The story takes a turn when the Psychiatrist, Ujan comes to the same village and meets Mishtu. He encountered certain mischievous deeds of Mishtu and became very agitated. Later on, he understood her problem and tries to help in curing Mishtu. Eshita Surana Poddar & Priyanka Surana Bardia, Directors, Aakash Aath stated that the story of their new primetime mega serial, Mishtu, which falls under the genre of romcom, will surely bring a smile to the viewer’s face. They are certain that the audience will cherish this new mega serial watching Mishtu’s journey. The story is written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. This mega is directed by Manish Ghosh. Ankhi Ghosh will be portraying the lead character of Mishtu. Mainak Dhol will be seen as Ujan, Anindya Chakraborty as Shiv Babu, Shravani Banik as Aparna, Jayitri Chowdhury as Aarti, Asmita Vaidya as Sukanya, Alakananda Guha as Dia, Mayukh Chatterjee as Dollar and Rajarshi Chatterjee as Rajen Babu. Mishtu is aired from 15th May 2023 every Monday to Saturday only on Aakash Aath at 8 pm.
