His comprehension of Satyajit Ray's vision and the character's essence has been enhanced by every moment spent on set and every conversation with the actors and crew. He is happy to include his thoughts and stories in this book, which he thinks will appeal to readers of all ages. This launch was particularly significant because it honoured the life of Siddhartha Chatterjee, who shared his distinct viewpoint and life experiences as the well-known character "Topse" from the enduring masterpieces Sonar Kella and Joy Baba Phelunath, which were directed by the late, great Satyajit Ray. "Feludar Prothom Topse" provides readers with an engrossing look into Feluda's world as seen through Siddhartha Chatterjee's eyes while documenting the essence of his portrayal of Topse.
