The Singapore Tourism Board and MakeMyTrip have Established a Strategic Partnership for a Year to Increase Travel to Singapore

News Desk, News Nation 360 : A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed by MakeMyTrip, the top online travel agency in India, and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to promote Singapore as a major travel destination for Indian tourists. The two organisations' first MOU is this one. With more than a million Indian tourists visiting the city-state in 2023, India ranks among the top five tourism markets in Singapore. With 17 Indian cities offering direct flights to Singapore, Indian travellers have excellent connectivity. Moreover, a diverse array of Indian tourists find Singapore's attractions and experiences appealing. In 2024, STB and MakeMyTrip will collaborate on activations and campaigns to increase inbound travel to Singapore as part of their MOU. Additionally, STB will leverage MakeMyTrip's market knowledge and insights to craft distinctive vacation packages aimed at Indian customers. Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder and Group CEO of MakeMyTrip added that Singapore moved up from fifth place in 2022 to become one of the top three international destinations searched on our platform last year. This destination's popularity is highlighted by the fact that people from all over India are drawn to it. With continuous efforts to modernise its services, easy access for travellers, and amenities catered to the tastes of Indians, Singapore has a great deal of potential to continue drawing in more Indian tourists. They are thrilled to collaborate with STB and provide an influential presentation of Singapore's charm to bridge the preferences of Indian tourists.
